The KDC470 enables diverse mobile Auto-Identification applications to collect data via barcode, RFID, OCR, and payment applications via USB/Serial and Bluetooth connections to various smartphones and tablets. This IP65-rated scanner is built to withstand dust and water in even the most rugged environments.

KOAMTAC s innovative modular technology and user-friendly design allow users to upgrade the smartphone periodically while maintaining the KDC470 system. An easily replaceable 1130mAh rechargeable battery and/or an optional extended battery package can be used as an external power source for smartphones. A custom SmartSled case connects the KDC470 to its smartphone or tablet and allows both the KDC and device to simultaneously charge through either the USB port or via charging cradle.

KDC470 comes with FREE KTSync keyboard wedging software and FREE SDK for Android, Blackberry, iOS (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) and Windows.
